Who we are? what we offer!
The Paddocks Freedom Field is a fully secure dog field with over 2 acres of land to play and explore.
We started with our own pack of escape artists who needed a safe space to play and burn off their excess energy. Our 6ft high fences then allowed our friends and family to enjoy walking their dogs with added peace of mind.
We’re so pleased to now be able to open up our secure space to the wider community.
We have a mix of fun homemade training equipment, toys, play area and a large field for walking and recall training and yes, somewhere to shelter if its raining.
We have onsite parking, a portaloo, if you are caught short as well as tea and coffee making facilities.
We are lucky enough to have horses for neighbours, so if your dog is horse reactive we might not be the field for you.
If you have an XL Bully you are welcome, but please message us before booking so we can be sure we are compliant with the new legislation.

Booking & Payment
- Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your session.
- Bookings are only confirmed once payment has been received and a confirmation email issued.
- Refunds will not be issued for customer cancelled bookings.
Late Arrivals & Early Departures
- Please arrive and leave promptly within your booked slot of 50 minutes.
- Please do not arrive early as you may impact others who are using the facilities.
- Your session will not be extended if you arrive late, and no refunds will be given for early departures.
Session Rules
- Dogs must be on lead until you enter the green security gates.
- Sessions are for exclusive use by the booking party only.
- Maximum number of dogs per booking must not exceed the limit set at the time of booking.
- Dogs must be supervised by a responsible adult (18+) at all times.
- Children must be supervised at all times.
- The play equipment is for the dogs only, do not sit or climb on the equipment or mound.
- Customers must clear all dog waste before leaving.
- Always close the gates behind you.
- Please be aware that we also own dogs and they will from time to time need to be let out in our garden in between booking sessions.
- Please be aware that the stables and workshop are in use during the Spring and Summer and from time to time you may encounter the owners.
Safety & Behaviour
- All dogs must be healthy and up-to-date on vaccinations.
- Owners are responsible for ensuring their dogs do not cause damage to fencing, equipment, or property.
- We take no responsibility for injuries to dogs or persons whilst on site. Equipment is used at your own risk.
- We endeavour to ensure the safety and security of all within the site demise but ultimatley owners are responsible for thier own dogs safety and security.
- Any malicious damage or damage caused by inappropriate use will be expected to be paid for, including damage caused by children on the equipment.
- As part of our license terms excessive barking must be controlled by the owner.
Extreme Weather & Field Closures
- If the field becomes unusable due to water logging, sessions will be rescheduled.
- Customers will be notified by email or phone as soon as possible.
- We take no responsibilty for extreme weather conditions, so please check the weather before making the booking and always check what is a suitable weather condition for your breed of dog.
